Treatment Plans

Configuration of Treatment Plans in EchoVantage consists of two main tabs, Treatment Plan Setup and Predefined Content.

Treatment Plans Configuration

1. Treatment Plan Setup allows users with administrative access to define Treatment Plan outlines, change the names of Treatment Plans, re-order Item levels or content to reflect agency and state needs, and control the Type List Permissions Editor.

  • The Type List/Permission Editor controls which user groups have access to change, edit, and reorder the Treatment Plan Plan Types by selecting or deselecting the checkbox for each Plan Type and User Group combination.
    • Define the order in which headers are displayed for all groups by dragging and dropping them in to the desired order.
    • Click first to select the row to move and then click again to drag to the desired location.
    • Type List Permission Editor
  • Staff access a Treatment Plan document via the Client's VHR Timeline.
  • User access to the Treatment Plan document is managed in the VHR Timeline Category Depiction Manager's Header Editor. Click HERE for detailed instructions on the VHR Timeline Configuration.

2. Predefined Content allows agencies to create custom treatment plan content that staff use to apply to a client treatment plan outline. WILEY evidence-based practice Treatment Plan libraries readily integrate into the Predefined Content libraries. If an agency elects to add the WILEY libraries, the content will be clearly marked in the Predefined Content options and readily available for the Client Treatment Plan setup and creation processes.

There are many benefits to using Predefined Content libraries:

  • The library provides consistent language across client treatment plans.
  • Content is reusable.
  • Built-in libraries accelerate the treatment plan entry process and are more accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Staff are able to spend more time with Clients and less time on paperwork.

A review of how Client Treatment Plans are currently setup along with a collaborative discussion with clinical staff before continuing on to the sections for Treatment Plan Setup and adding Predefined Content will help create plans that are useful, intuitive, and targeted to agency needs.
