EMR Direct

Before Direct Messages may be sent or received, the EMR Direct configuration needs to be completed. Navigate to Configuration>Setup>Third Party Integration and select the EMR Direct tab.

EMR Direct Configuration

1. Enabled - The Enabled checkbox must be selected for Direct Messaging to work. If the checkbox is not marked, direct messages will not be sent or received even if the remaining configuration is complete. Click to select. Click again to deselect.

2. Account Information - The Account Information is supplied by EMR Direct when the agency enrolls with them. Information needed is:

  • Service Account
  • Service Password

3. Server Information - Enter the URL and Port number for the Direct Message server.

4. Connection Options - Connection Options allows the agency to set the Polling Interval. Valid entries are from 60 to 3600.

Once all information is complete, Click on the blue SAVE to record the configuration. To exit without adding or saving changes, click on the CANCEL button.
