NPI

Some payers may require a specific NPI be included on the billing form based on the services rendered. For example, an organization that has an NPI for Mental Health services and another NPI for Alcohol and Drug services would be able to create defined filter for each of these. The NPI numbers could be attached the defined filters allowing the appropriate NPI to be included when the bill for services is created.

To get started, click on the blue + ADD NPI.

1. Use the drop-down box to select the Defined Filter to use.

2. Enter the 10 digit numeric NPI number to be used for services that meet the requirements defined by the Defined Filter.

3. Click on the enabled blue SAVE to record entries.

4. Use the trash can icon to delete any combination entered in error or no longer needed.
